USER RESEARCH
As a UX/UI designer, I realized I needed to make sure whether the audience preferred to have an App with health and well-being information related to their lives, or if they needed an App with a comprehensive online medical information system using a body to identify symptoms.I also needed to determine what kind of information should be provided on the main page. I decided to conduct interviews and user tests.
The results show that users prefer to have a friend-like mascot to enhance the App. Moreover, the users prefer seeing their real doctor instead of reading online suggestions. So, our team decided to develop a happy turtle which assists the users in having a better experience like reading articles and weather reports. Â The App is focused on providing health and well-being tips, insights and information.
PERSONAS
Ms. Lee is 65 years old and just retired from her preschool business. She went to the gym everyday and enjoys healthy food. She loves watching Youtube on her tablet. Also, she likes to share videos and health information to her friends. She doesn’t really know how to download an App and planned to take some classes at the local senior center.
